Vice President at Baker Boyer Bank

Marla Morrell, who attended high school in Colfax, Washington, has been working in the banking industry for the past 34 years. She currently serves as a Vice President and Private Banking Advisor at Baker Boyer. Besides acting as the President of the Trilogy board, Marla is involved with her faith community, Solid Rock Christian Fellowship. Affected by her son's disease of addiction for 17 years, Marla came to Trilogy through the Family Support Group in 2007. She is convinced that educating families, helping friends and family members find services for their using loved ones, and modeling self-care are all vital components to recovery. "Trilogy has given me hope in some of my darkest moments," Marla says. "I believe in the Trilogy mission and have seen it work firsthand." Marla's hobbies include baking, riding motorcycles, and spending time with her husband, children, and three grandchildren.

Detention Manager at the Walla Walla Juvenile Justice Center

Norrie Gregoire has sat on Trilogy's board of directors since its inception in 2010. After attending secondary school in Walla Walla and studying Sociology at Whitman College, he became Juvenile Detention Manager at the Juvenile Justice Center in Walla Walla. Also involved with Friends of the Children of Walla Walla, a mentoring organization, Norrie sees Trilogy as singular in the Walla Walla community, providing critical recovery support services to youth and families who may have no other opportunity to access such support. Norrie lives with his wife, Lucy, and their three children, Emma, Sophia, and Nels.

Director of Planning & Process Improvement at Providence St. Mary Medical Center

Hall Grimes serves as the Director of Planning and Process Improvement at Providence St. Mary Medical Center and on the board of Trilogy as treasurer. He studied Economics and Psychology at the University of Puget Sound and received an MBA from Claremont Graduate University. In his spare time, Hall enjoys golfing and gardening.

Sarah Michelson

Retired Whitman College Overseer and Community Volunteer

Besides serving on the board of Trilogy Recovery Community, Sarah Michelson volunteers in various capacities for Whitman College, Valley Residential Services, Washington State Women's Golf Association, WW Country Club, WW County Board of Equalization, WW County Community Coalition to Prevent Underage Drinking, Alcoholics Anonymous, and Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and Northern Idaho. Sarah studied Biology at Whitman College and retired from the biotech pharmaceutical industry in 2000. She enjoys golf, travel, cooking, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Lenna Buissink

Retired Schoolteacher and Parent

Lenna Buissink, from Pullman, Washington, studied Elementary Education and History at Washington State University before becoming an elementary school teacher in Walla Walla. She retired in 2001, coming to Trilogy through her help in the facilitation of the first Family Support Group housed at St. Patrick's in 2006. When the board formed in 2010, Lenna was a shoe-in member, serving in the capacity of secretary until 2012. Lenna also volunteers in the Walla Walla community through her role on the Human Services Advisory Board. She believes Trilogy is making huge strides in educating youth about substance use, challenging the stigma associated with addiction, and touching the lives of its youth and family members for good. In her free time, Lenna enjoys reading and watching Cougar football. She has two grown children and cares for her elderly mother and pet dog.

Kathy Covey

Chief Executive Officer at Blue Mountain Action Council

Originally from Walla Walla, Kathy Covey received her Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Eastern Washington University. She made her way back to Walla Walla to work at Blue Mountain Action Council, where she now serves as the Community Services Director, managing programs including Emergency Food, Workforce Training, Transitional Housing, and Support Services for Veterans. Besides acting as the vice president on the board of Trilogy, Kathy also sits on the board of the Washington Food Coalition, is a member of the local Homeless Alliance, and serves on several state-wide advisory committees. An avid WSU Cougar fan (her father played football for the Cougars), Kathy lives with her husband, Clark, and they are especially proud of their two daughters--Tami, an attorney in Philadelphia, and Andi, a social worker in Pendleton.

Hailing from Walla Walla, Jenae Henry received her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from Northwest Christian University and her Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Walla Walla University. She works as a Mental Health Specialist and Executive Director of SOS Health Services of Walla Walla. In addition to serving on the board of Trilogy, Jenae is also an active board member and volunteer of Neutral Ground Dispute Resolution Center of Walla Walla. Jenae praises Trilogy for the organization's passion to empower teens.

Elizabeth Guerra

Community Services Director at Blue Mountain Action Council

Elizabeth Guerra first moved to Walla Walla in 1998 to work at the Blue Mountain Action Council in the community services division. In 2004, she left to attend Gonzaga School of Law. After earning her JD, she moved to Seattle and worked in the field of civil rights. In 2013, she returned to Walla Walla and to BMAC. She is now the Director of Community Services working with programs for homeless families, parents seeking jobs and adult literacy. Elizabeth is committed to the work of Trilogy because Trilogy enlists the community, families and young people together to address the devastating effects of drug and alcohol use on the developing brain.

Kathie Yancey

Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Providence St. Mary Medical Center

Born at Fort Knox, Kentucky and raised in Walla Walla, Kathie Yancey studied nursing at Walla Walla Community College. Kathie has been employed as a Registered Nurse at Providence St. Mary Medical Center since 1988, working in the Emergency department the past 11 years. Kathie is the mother of a recovering addict who started using as a teenager, and became involved with Trilogy through the Family Support Group. She has three grown children and lives in town with her husband, Bob, a fire Chief for the city of Walla Walla. When not working, Kathie enjoys reading, teaching, traveling, camping, crafting and politics.

Financial Analyst for Wealth Management/Investment & Trust Services at Baker Boyer Bank

Riley Clubb joined the Trilogy Board of Directors in early 2014. A graduate of Walla Walla High School and Whitman College, where he majored in Rhetoric and Film Studies, he currently works as an Investment Analyst for Baker Boyer Bank. In recovery himself, Riley believes that to help himself, he must first help others. "That's pretty much how recovery works. I also think focusing on helping young people recover from addiction is really important. Helping addicts find the solution as early as possible is the goal." He's passionate about educating the community about the realities of addiction for people at any age or position in life. For fun, Riley is in a fantasy football league and enjoys skiing.
